About this product

Cylindrical crucibles made from 99.7% pure aluminum oxide are designed for demanding high-temperature laboratory applications. They offer strong resistance to alkalis and other fluxes, remain highly refractory and inert in hydrogen and carbonaceous atmospheres, and are suitable for glass melting, including borosilicate glass. Maximum use temperature is 1750°C.
