The Low Form Porcelain Crucible is made from chemical porcelain ware and is designed for laboratory heating applications. It is glazed on the inside and outside, except for the outside bottom surface and rim, and is supplied without a cover. The crucible has a stated limit of use of 1150°C. The manufacturer recommends controlling the heating and cooling rate to not exceed 200°C per hour. Multiple capacities are available from 2 mL to 500 mL, with corresponding outside diameters and heights.
