These autoclavable vacuum desiccators are made from polypropylene and polycarbonate. The rigid transparent polycarbonate dome provides a crystal-clear view of the desiccant, while the polypropylene lower section includes a groove for the silicone rubber O-ring. A polypropylene stopcock with self-lubricating PTFE plug provides vacuum creation, shut-off and release, with vacuum retention up to 740 mm Hg for 24 hours without greasing.
