The PTFE Stir Bar, Pivot Ring is designed for use in vessels with curved or uneven bases. Its pivot ring allows the stir bar to adopt an optimum position for smoother stirring action with reduced friction. The stir bar is manufactured from virgin-grade PTFE conforming to FDA and USP Class VI requirements and incorporates an Alnico V magnetic core. It provides virtually total chemical resistance and operates across a temperature range of -200°C to 260°C (-328°F to 500°F).
