Kartell Micro Test Tubes are made from polypropylene (PP) and designed for laboratory sample analysis and transport. They withstand centrifugation forces up to 11,000 × g. The 0.5 ml version includes a cap, while the 1.5 ml version is supplied without a cap. Both versions are autoclavable at 121°C for 20 minutes, with the cap open where applicable.
