The GLS Aluminium Oxide Cylindrical Crucible is manufactured from 99.7% pure aluminium oxide for high-temperature laboratory applications. It offers high resistance to alkalis and other fluxes and is refractory and inert in hydrogen and carbonaceous atmospheres. It is suitable for glass melting including borosilicate glass.
