The Kartell Filtration and Vacuum Desiccator is an implosion-resistant laboratory desiccator manufactured with a polypropylene (PP) base and transparent polycarbonate (PC) cover. It is designed for vacuum drying and moisture removal from laboratory samples. The transparent cover seals against a neoprene O-ring positioned in the PP base flange to support vacuum retention, while the removable internal pan provides space for calcium chloride or another suitable drying agent. A vacuum release and non-return valve assembly allows connection to a mechanical pump for creating vacuum and permits air to be reintroduced slowly to help minimise disturbance to the contents. The 9.2 L model has a 250 mm internal diameter, 300 mm external height and 225 mm internal height. The desiccator plate is supplied separately.
