The Kartell Tissue Embedding Sponges are made from synthetic sponge material with controlled porosity and designed to support small tissue specimens during histological processing and paraffin embedding. Their porous structure allows solvents, reagents and paraffin to pass through while helping keep specimens securely positioned and reducing the risk of sample loss. The sponges can be conveniently placed inside compatible tissue embedding cassettes and are suitable for routine histology and biopsy preparation.
