The Kartell Tissue Grinding Pestle is designed for crushing and homogenising tissue and other tough laboratory samples when used with compatible borosilicate glass homogenising mortars. It features a serrated PTFE head and a corrosion-resistant stainless steel shaft, providing effective sample processing and chemical durability. The straight end of the shaft can be inserted into a suitable stirrer chuck to support automated homogenisation. The pestles are available for 2 ml, 5 ml, 10 ml, 15 ml, 30 ml and 50 ml working volumes, with a 6.5 mm shaft diameter.
