The Maxisafe Polycarbonate Metatarsal Guard is great to guard lace up footwear. It deflects and disperses the impact of falling loads on the metatarsal area of the foot, and is designed and tested to complement steel cap footwear. It fits all safety shoes and boots, secures with existing laces, and is made of extremely durable, lightweight, non-conductive polycarbonate. It can be used with existing footwear and is transferable between users and shoes. It is practical, comfortable, easy to fit and simple to use. It meets minimum impact resistance 75 lbs (34 kgs) as specified in ASTM F2412/F2413. The resilient nylon webbing weaves through a plastic ladder lock providing secure fastening to adjust to different types of footwear. Straps (FMB912) are also available separately to secure the guard protector to non-lace up footwear.
