The Plain PTFE Shaft features a stainless steel core encapsulated in PTFE with an exposed end designed to provide a more rigid connection to a chuck drive. It can be used with adjustable rotors and has a 30 mm exposed shaft section. The shaft is manufactured from virgin-grade PTFE conforming to FDA and USP Class VI requirements, providing virtually total chemical resistance. It is easy to clean, robust and break resistant, with an operating temperature range of -200°C to 260°C (-328°F to 500°F).
