About this product

The PTFE Shaft Stirrer, Centrifugal is designed for use with narrow-necked vessels, with blades that open during stirring to provide the required stirring action. The PTFE rotor is fused to a PTFE-encapsulated stainless steel shaft. Exposed shaft (EX) models feature a 50 mm exposed stainless steel core for a more rigid connection to the chuck drive. The stirrer is manufactured using virgin-grade PTFE conforming to FDA and USP Class VI requirements and provides virtually total chemical resistance. It is easy to clean, robust and break resistant, autoclavable, and has an operating temperature range of -200°C to 260°C (-328°F to 500°F).
