PTFE Shaft Stirrer, Screw Propeller, designed for laboratory and process mixing where chemical resistance, easy cleaning and robust construction are important. The PTFE rotor is fused to a PTFE-encapsulated stainless steel shaft, providing a durable, break-resistant stirring assembly. Virgin grade PTFE conforms to FDA and USP Class VI requirements and offers virtually total chemical resistance. The stirrer operates from -200°C to 260°C (-328°F to 500°F), is autoclavable and has an indefinite shelf life under normal use and storage conditions. Exposed shaft models (EX) provide a 50 mm exposed stainless steel core for a more rigid chuck connection.
