The kit centres on the Ranger Handheld and includes the DO-100 optical sensor, which is designed as a low-maintenance alternative that does not require an electrochemical membrane, liquids or air bubbles. The standard setup includes a 1 metre quick-snap sensor cable, protective Ranger sleeve and 120 ml sample jar. The Ranger Handheld provides a broader upgrade path because its sensor ports can accommodate pH, EC and ORP sensors at a later stage. The instrument is ergonomically designed for one-handed use and includes a large Gorilla Glass display, matching sensor connectors, automatic sensor detection, sensor health indicators, accessible buffer settings and approximately one week of average battery operation per charge.
