The TPS pH Sensor - Surface, BNC is a general-purpose sensor for measuring pH in liquids across field and laboratory applications. It uses a plastic epoxy-body combination construction with an AgCl reference and a Porous Teflon junction. TPS highlights the Porous Teflon reference system for applications where samples can cause clogging, specifically identifying wine, soil suspensions and other solutions that may challenge inferior sensor designs. A screw-on membrane guard protects the sensing area, while the sensor can be submerged to a depth of 1 metre. The supplied configuration has a 1 metre cable and BNC connection. Measurement capability covers 0 to 14 pH and temperatures from 0 to 60°C (32 to 140°F), with the sensor measuring 120 × 12 mm. TPS lists compatibility with nine instruments across the WP, Aqua and SmartChem Lab ranges.
